Museum quality posters featuring a unique freestanding arch with an opening 32 feet wide and 46 feet high, was carved from a fin of Entrada Sandstone by chemical and mechanical weathering processes.Visitors who complete the 1.5 mile hike to the arch are rewarded with a spectacular view of the La Sal peaks, which rise to more than 12,000 feet above sea level. - Photographed by Dick Durrance II
